Journey Down the River with Friends
Captain's License Level has been unlocked!
Nathan spent the winter jumping through all the hoops to get his official Captain's License so we're ready to take your group for a journey down the river beginning in June of 2025! Our 30-foot pontoon can accommodate up to 6 participants for a sightseeing tour on the Kentucky River between Fort Boonesborough State Park and Valley View Ferry. The pace of the excursion will depend on your group, weather, and conditions of the river. Pricing is based on the length of the trip.
We currently board from the dock at Three Trees RV Park where passengers can take advantage of their restrooms before boarding the boat. We also have an on-board privvy (for LIQUID deposits only) as well as a handwashing sink.

What about bad weather? If your boat guide determines that weather or water conditions are too dangerous, or if the boat is having mechanical issues and we need to cancel, you get 100% of your reservation cost refunded. We typically follow the guidance of the experienced crew of the Valley View Ferry. If they shut down due to high water or bad weather, we do the same.
Please note that light rain may or may not be cause for us to cancel and other factors such as wind and temperature will be considered. If the guide determines the weather to be suitable enough for boating, but you choose to cancel, then the regular cancelation policy will apply. If the trip has to be cut short due to weather, water, or mechanical issues, then the reservation fee will be prorated. If the trip is cut short due to passenger issues such as illness, inebriation, or other personal factors, no refund will be issued. |
Goin' Fishin'?If you're booking a fishing trip, you must have a valid fishing license before meeting at the dock for your scheduled embarking time.
