In addition to a small playground, creeks for hunting geodes, disc golf, star-gazing, and just lounging by the campfire, the farm also has a steep and rugged 1.5 mile hiking loop to explore. We also highly recommend a few of the following excursions:

Berea College Forestry Outreach Center - 8 miles away. Guided hikes, nature activities.
Owsley Fork Reservoir - 8 miles away. Rent a canoe or kayak from Get Outside Ky and hit the water.
Anglin Falls - 11 miles away. Wet weather waterfall, nature preserve, and amazing wildflowers.
Boone Creek Outdoors - 34 miles away. Zipline tours, guided hikes, angler's club.
Rockcastle Outdoor Company - 36 miles away. Stand-up paddleboard rentals, motorcycle tours, river tubing.
Red River Gorge Geological Area - a scenic hour's drive, but loads of hiking, rock-climbing, and natural history.

Tater Knob Pottery is just 3 miles down the road and you can sometimes get your hands in the clay while shopping.
