Campsites
Campsites
Bring your friends and your tent or hammock! Primitive sites aren't designated. You can camp just about anywhere on our hundred acre farm. Choose to stay close to the kitchen and bathhouse or hike up the mountain for privacy and seclusion. Campers can use the large, communal fire pit near the pavilion or bring a portable, above-ground version. Wood can be gathered for free from the forest or purchased in bundles. We do not provide tents. Utility sites are also available.
Amenities
For your convenience, our shared-use bath house is open from April through October (or until freezing temperatures are in the forecast), and features four flush toilets and two solar-heated showers. Toilet paper is provided, but not towels or toiletries. Additionally, there is an outbuilding equipped with a telephone and kitchen appliances that guests are welcome to use as long as you clean up after yourself. For winter guests, we have built two outhouses (one near the treehouse and one near the yome), but won't be able to offer showering facilities at this time.
For your enjoyment, we have hiking trails, bird-watching, a nearby reservoir for fishing & swimming, campfire cooking, star-gazing, a playground, two disc-golf baskets, a cornhole set, a croquet set, and a canoe for rent. We do not have cell service or internet so prepare to unplug.
