The Grand Tipi
The Grand Tipi
Our massive 24-foot tipi can sleep up to 10 people and has a fire pit inside for chilly nights. It is centrally located within the playground making it a great spot for kids. The tipi floor is just the ground so be prepared to bring suitable bedding such as air mattresses or cots. If the ground is dry, you may park next to the tipi, but if the ground is saturated, we ask that you park near the pavilion/courtesy kitchen.
Amenities
For your convenience, our shared-use bath house is open from April through October (or until freezing temperatures are in the forecast), and features four flush toilets and two solar-heated showers. Toilet paper is provided, but not towels or toiletries. Additionally, there is an outbuilding equipped with a telephone and kitchen appliances that guests are welcome to use as long as you clean up after yourself. For winter guests, we have built two outhouses (one near the treehouse and one near the yome), but won't be able to offer showering facilities at this time.
For your enjoyment, we have hiking trails, bird-watching, a nearby reservoir for fishing & swimming, campfire cooking, star-gazing, a playground, two disc-golf baskets, a cornhole set, a croquet set, and a canoe for rent. We do not have cell service or internet so prepare to unplug.
