Abi's Arboreal Abode
Abi's Arboreal Abode &
Hammock Haven
(AAAHH...)
This sweet little high-rise is a 15' yurt, nestled like a bird-nest 10' off the ground in a grove of walnut trees. Dedicated to the memory of our forest-dwelling friend, Abigail Dietz, this cozy shelter lets you spend some time with your head in the clouds and commune with her light-hearted and spunky spirit. Want to feel a bit more grounded? Slip below-deck and rock your cares away in one of the shaded hammocks swinging underneath next to the creek. This glamping site sleeps up to 4. When you stay in the treehouse, 10% of the proceeds go to Partnering with Abi.
Amenities
For your convenience, our shared-use bath house is open from April through October (or until freezing temperatures are in the forecast), and features four flush toilets and two solar-heated showers. Toilet paper is provided, but not towels or toiletries. Additionally, there is an outbuilding equipped with a telephone and kitchen appliances that guests are welcome to use as long as you clean up after yourself. For winter guests, we have built two outhouses (one near the treehouse and one near the yome), but won't be able to offer showering facilities at this time.
For your enjoyment, we have hiking trails, bird-watching, a nearby reservoir for fishing & swimming, campfire cooking, star-gazing, a playground, two disc-golf baskets, a cornhole set, a croquet set, and a canoe for rent. We do not have cell service or internet so prepare to unplug.
