PlayThink is a conscientious community of collaborative, innovative modern athletes and artists from many disciplines with the common goal to educate everyone everywhere on the benefits of re-connecting the mind, body, and spirit via creative new forms of playful exercise. The PlayThink Movement is an inclusive, participatory culture of vitality, fun, and well-being, rooted in the belief that each of us has the power to re-shape our own experience mentally and physically and live life to the fullest.
The PlayThink Movement & Flow Arts Festival is a family friendly gathering dedicated to cultivating a creative, healthy community. We look forward to sharing our natural playful spirit through a variety of flow arts including object manipulation (hula hooping, poi, staff spinning, fan dance, juggling), yoga, martial arts, dance, aerial play, mindfulness, healing arts, fire performance, art classes and more. Experience the magic of dance parties, circus camp, and learning to heal through play. Be prepared for inspiring workshops from amazing regional instructors bringing unique talents and inspiration. There will be artists, vendors, and fun to be had of all kinds!
The Whippoorwill Festival, located in the beautiful foothills of Appalachia in Central Kentucky, teaches earth-friendly and sustainable living skills in a joyful, healthy, family-friendly atmosphere.
The Whippoorwill Festival celebrates our Appalachian heritage and traditions while helping prepare our minds and bodies for a future world of climate change and a decreased supply of fossil fuels. Together we are building a community and working toward creating a society that will be more resilient in the face of climate change and upcoming resource shortages.
The Whippoorwill Festival is an all-volunteer event featuring over 75 earth-friendly workshops, tent camping, healthy, home-cooked meals, and guest speakers, plus campfires, Appalachian mountain music and contra dancing in the evenings.
To support the local economy, The Whippoorwill Festival features booths and displays from local artists and craft workers from Berea, Kentucky's artisan capital.

We also provide a courtesy phone since most cell phones do not pick up service at the farm - please use respectfully.
